I found Cool Heat Solutions through a quick internet search.  It was my lucky day.  Fred, the owner, was able to meet with me on that same day and look over what was wrong with my furnace.  Turns out, I had a broken fan that he had to replace.  This lovely little piece was nowhere to be found in the Bay Area as he patiently shopped for several fans that didn't fit (through no fault of his own - the stores were sending the wrong parts!).  When the right one was finally sent to him, it was a quick fix - and then there was a new problem...  It turned out that there was also a wiring issue that didn't become apparent until the fan was fixed.  Fred came back the next day and fixed that too - and here's the kicker - he fixed it for 1/10th of the estimate I was given by the company that installed the furnace originally.  Yes - 10%.  Fred saved me $1600!

In short - here's why Cool Heat Solutions gets 5 stars from me:
-Quick service - willing to work with my crazy schedule
-Worked on until it's done RIGHT!  
-Great value
-Fred didn't treat me as if I was an idiot just because it was something mechanical that a girl wouldn't understand (the last guy did and that's why I never ended up spending that extra money - I knew he was full of it.  I may be a girl, but I've fixed a few things in my life.) He explained everything and was more than fair with his charges.
-Professional demeanor and dress.
-Fred and Cool Heat Solutions are a pleasure to do business with.  It's the kind of business where you (almost) wish there were more problems they could fix for you.
